QuincyCAN volunteers meet monthly, and our meetings are open to the public. They occur at 7 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the Houghs Neck Community Center: 1193 Sea Street in Quincy. (No meetings in December and one summer month. In 2019, there will be no meeting in August.)
We already have several ongoing projects, but it takes many hands and minds to make an impact. So be prepared to voice your thoughts about reducing energy use and switching to renewable energy. If you can’t come, feel free to email us with your ideas and attend a future meeting.
QCAN Communications Committee meets periodically to work on outreach and education. We launched our first hands-on education program, the Kill a Watt loaner program, in collaboration with Quincy’s Thomas Crane Library, in February 2013.
Many QCAN members also serve on the Mayor’s Climate Change Committee, which encourages renewable energy projects in the city.
